| Rhydybont Beef Herd is made up of three main cattle breeds; Hereford, Aberdeen Angus and Limousin. We thought it would be nice to introduce you to these breeds. Hereford Cow Breed The Hereford can be recognized by its white face. It is a very docile cow and can adapt to many conditions. Female cows are able to produce and wean a calf every year. Aberdeen Angus Breed The Aberdeen Angus has a black coat. You can see one in the photo opposite. The cows mature early under natural conditions and the meat they produce has as unique marbling characteristic. For more information click HERE to visit the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society Website. |
